Does Psyche Labs take a percentage of my session fees? +

No — never. We charge a flat monthly subscription fee only. Every dollar your clients pay you is yours. We are a referral and matching platform, not a billing intermediary.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time? +

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard and your profile will be deactivated at the end of your billing period. Existing client relationships are yours to keep.

How does the matching algorithm work? +

Clients complete a 16-question intake assessment covering their presenting concerns, preferences, cultural background, budget, and availability. Our system then cross-references these with your profile — including specializations, accepted insurance, languages spoken, and scheduling availability — to generate a ranked shortlist of matched therapists.

Do I need to offer a sliding scale fee to join? +

No, sliding scale is optional. However, therapists who offer sliding scale fees do receive more referrals, as many of our clients are seeking affordable options. You can indicate your fee range and whether you accept sliding scale on your profile.

Is the platform PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant? +

Yes. Psyche Labs is fully compliant with PIPEDA (federal) and PHIPA (Ontario). All client data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share personally identifiable client information with third parties.

I'm a new therapist just starting out. Can I still apply? +

Absolutely. Many of the therapists in our network are early-career practitioners building their caseloads. As long as you hold a valid registration with your Ontario regulatory college, you are eligible to join.
